One Scuttlecat in the colour you pick. The hood, the padded body and the straps are a single piece, so there is nothing to assemble.
The shell is quilted into nine padded sections with a row of soft legs down each side, and two antennae on the hood.
How it goes on
How it goes on
Hood over the head first, with their face through the opening and their ears flat underneath. Then the straps go under the chest and take up the slack.
Their own tail slides into the last section, which is what makes the shape work from behind.

Some cats settle in it, some give you about thirty seconds. Put it on, get what you wanted, take it off.
Never leave a cat wearing it unsupervised, and take it off the moment they are unhappy with it.

Black with red legs, or black with tan legs. The body and the hood are the same on both.
Red is the louder one and photographs harder in low light. Tan is closer to a real centipede.

My husband actually shouted
Put it on her before he got in from work and let her wander down the hall. He made a noise I have never heard him make. Worth it for that alone, and she did not seem to mind wearing it.

I expected a faff and it took about ten seconds. The straps go under the chest and it just sits there. She walked off in it like nothing had happened.

Two and a half weeks, so order early if you want it for the 31st. No complaints about the thing itself, the padding is thicker than it looks in the photos.

Went with the tan one
Ordered the black and tan because our cat is jet black and I thought the red might be a lot. It looks brilliant outside. The tail dragging behind is what sells it.
